Quote:                  Laura Simon, Executive Director, DDA

“The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) created Dine Out Downtown Delray Restaurant Week to highlight our award-winning restaurants within the Downtown district, while showcasing their culinary expertise & hospitality to both locals and visitors. The DDA is responsible for marketing the Downtown district and all of its neighborhoods including The Set (West Atlantic), Pineapple Grove Arts District, SOFA (South of Atlantic), Arts & Entertainment (the core of Atlantic Avenue), US1 and Beachside. All types of food and drink establishments from our cafes, juice bars, and pizza places to our casual and fine dining restaurants - encompass a significant portion (21%) of our Downtown business mix. The goal was to create a holistic dining program that all of our food establishments could participate in - and they've pulled out all the stops to make this event successful. We are thrilled to have partnered with Healthy Bellies - a program of the Delray Beach Achievement Center, founded by DADA Executive Chef Bruce Feingold - committed to educating under privileged children and families in Delray Beach on nutrition.”
