The First Grader is coming to Delray Beach Public Library! The inspiring true story will make you laugh, cry, and cheer! 2 pm, Sunday, December 9 Free, please register at www.delraylibrary.org/registration/ Discussion to follow with our librarian, Isabella, who recently returned from Kenya where she delivered to library books to rural schools. Also, do a little holiday shopping at the mini Maasai market featuring small goods from Kenya. All proceeds to benefit The Kenya Library Project.
Winter Wonderland Extravaganza this Thursday! Children begin the festivities by creating a Gingerbread House at 3:30 PM. Followed by a special Holiday Show at 5:00 PM starring Suzy Hammer as "Nanny Gingerbread, Stories,song, fun tricks and sweet cookies will delight all. At 6:00 PM join the Milagro Center Children's Art Exhibit opening reception displayed in the lobby. Light snacks will be served. All ages. Call 561-266-0197 to register.
