The City announces new mobile payment and pay-by-plate parking meters

Delray Beach, FL (October 6, 2017) -  Gone are the days where you had to display your parking receipt on your dashboard! The city of Delray Beach is pleased to announce the launch of a new pay-by-phone and pay-by-plate program enabling drivers to conveniently pay for parking on their mobile device.

Users can now use the Parkmobile app to pay for parking on all on-street, surface lots and garages throughout the city. You can also pay with credit/debit cards and U.S. bills at all meters, if preferred. The Parkmobile app can be downloaded for free from the Android and Apple app store.

The pay-by-plate option can be found in the beach area. Due to the city's beach renovations, meters were temporarily suspended. With most of the construction complete, payment for beach parking will resume on Monday, October 9, 2017.  Patrons can use any meter to add time by simply using their license plate number. Pay-by-plate will operate from the Beach Pavilion at A1A and Atlantic Ave, south to Casuarina Road. The same meters can be found in the City-owned garage at street-level spots on the barrier island.
